Award-Winning Beers Brewed to Perfection: Explore Monty’s Best-Selling Ales
Located just a short distance from the ancient town of Montgomery on the Powys—Shropshire border, Russ and Pam, a husband-and-wife team, have been brewing real ales and gluten-free beers since 2008. Having won several awards for our hand-crafted beers and ales, we are proud to have become one of the leading breweries in Wales!
With years of experience producing award-winning beers of many styles and flavours and as we are always asked which ones we prefer - we thought it was only fair to share with you some of our personal favourites!
Dark Secret
To ensure our beers can be enjoyed by all, several of our award-winning craft IPA beers, craft stout, and dark ales are gluten-free! We use the same process, brewing with oats and barely, and then the gluten is removed afterward. While creating a slightly different taste, we still use the same brewing technique to ensure all beers are brewed to perfection.

Masquerade
Another favourite amongst our customers is the Monty’s Masquerade. Our intention with this bottle was to create a great tasting gluten-free beer that everyone can enjoy! The golden base with tropical fruit flavours and distinct hop aroma makes this the perfect light and fresh go-to ale in the collection.
