Monty’s Brewery is excited to support SIBA's (Society of Independent Brewers) brand-new Indie Beer campaign, officially launching on 22nd October 2024. The aim of this campaign is to unite breweries across the UK and establish Indie Beer as a trusted mark for high-quality craft and cask beer brewed by truly independent brewers.

The Society of Independent Brewers, the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), the British Institute of Innkeepers (Bii), and the Independent Family Brewers of Britain (IFBB), have all backed the IndieBeer campaign.

At Monty’s, we think this is a great step forward for the industry. This campaign didn’t come about overnight – it’s been years in the making and backed by detailed research, a robust development process, and a fascinating new consumer survey data. The launch will detail even more about these insights, and we couldn't be more excited!

Why Indie Beer Matters

Supporting Indie Beer means supporting local breweries and innovation. As an independent brewery ourselves, we’re passionate about preserving the quality that comes with independent craft brewing. With over 300 breweries already signed up, including Monty’s, the Indie Beer campaign has momentum, but we need even more local breweries to get involved. The bigger the reach, the stronger the impact on raising awareness and supporting our community.
