Navigation pale ale
/Monty’s Navigation Pale ale. This Welsh beer will be helping to support the restoration project between the Shropshire Union Canal near Oswestry towards Powys. Monty’s will be donating to the fund with every pint sold.

A lightly hopped 4.0% pale ale with a great blend of cascade, delta, admiral and tetnang hops. Its easy drinking with a nice dry bitter finish. Not overly hopped, just enough after a long walk along the canal!
The canal society needs up to £600,000 to restore the next section of the Shropshire Union Canal between Crickheath Wharf towards Powys. Monty’s were specifically asked by the volunteers to create a beer, being a producer of fine real ales and local to the project, giving it low delivery mileage to its customers.
The beer was created and the volunteer “navvies” gave it a big thumbs up and approval on its first tasting.
